Teleprompter

This teleprompter runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type or import is ever uploaded. It smoothly scrolls your script from the bottom of the screen to the top so you can read naturally while facing your camera.

Steps

1. Paste your script into the box, or import a .txt / .md file, then press Load Script.
2. Set the Scroll Speed and Font Size for a comfortable reading pace.
3. Press Play (or Space) to start scrolling; press again to pause.
4. Use rewind, skip, and fullscreen to control your take.

Mirror Mode

Professional teleprompter rigs use a beam-splitter — a piece of glass angled at 45° in front of the lens that reflects a screen mounted below. Because the reflection flips the image left-to-right, the source text must be pre-flipped. Enable Mirror horizontally so the reflected text reads correctly. Mirror vertically handles rigs that mount the display above the lens.

Reading Guide

The horizontal guide line marks a fixed eye-position on screen. Keep the line you are speaking aligned with the guide to hold a steady gaze on the lens.

Tips

• Rehearse once to find the speed that matches your natural delivery.
• Add blank lines between paragraphs to give yourself breathing room.
• Larger fonts are easier to read at a distance from the camera.
• Everything is client-side, so it works offline once the page is loaded.
